Winter vacation in the Zillertal
Ski paradise & winter magic
The Zillertal inspires its guests with unforgettable ski holidays and a unique winter magic in the mountains of Tyrol. The 4-star Hotel Almhof is – like all our accommodations – located in the “First Holiday Region in the Zillertal” and is therefore the ideal starting point for a perfect ski and winter holiday.
- Skiers & snowboarders can look forward to over 544 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes in the Zillertal. A visit to the Hintertux Glacier, the only year-round ski area in Austria, is a special experience.
- Freeride off-piste: This is also a unique experience in the Zillertal!
- Ski touring & snowshoe hiking: virgin snow, magnificent panorama, absolute silence. A paradise for ski tourers and snowshoe hikers! You can rent the equipment in our Kostenzer ski rental and you can also book the trainer for the first attempts at the Kostenzer ski school.
- Cross-country skiers conquer the Zillertal in classic or skating style. The valley trails are just as inspiring as the high-altitude trails right here in Hochfügen.
You can rent cross-country skis in our ski rental directly in the hotel. - Tobogganing is still a sociable highlight – the floodlit toboggan run in Hochfügen, the family-friendly toboggan run at the Goglhof in Fügen and the newly built toboggan run on the Spieljoch invite you to enjoy an action-packed downhill run with the whole family.
- Kostenzer Ski Hire & Ski School: Whether you are a child, beginner or motivated group – in our ski school you can perfect your skiing and snowboarding skills at a special price. Of course, this also applies to our ski rental: In addition to skis and snowboards, you can also rent toboggans, snowshoes, cross-country skis and touring equipment there. In addition, ski or splitboard tours and freerides are offered with a state-certified mountain and ski guide.
